Boston Solar is seeking an experienced Canvassing and Outreach Manager to join our growing solar family. POSITION DESCRIPTION

TITLE:                            Canvassing and Outreach Manager
SUPERVISOR:              Director of Marketing
CLASSIFICATION:        Full-time

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage, hire, train and motivate canvassing and event teams
  • Forecast expected lead generation base off of conversion metrics
  • Track results of canvassing and event programs
  • Creation of detailed monthly canvassing and event plan
  • Travel to locations throughout Massachusetts to dispatch staff to canvass and attend events
  • Conduct meetings as required
  • Consistent communication and cooperation with the Director of Marketing and the Director of Sales
  • Generate qualified leads and appointments through canvassing and events
  • Develop and maintain scripts and training manuals for canvassing and events
  • Determine where to canvass and promote our products

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven leader with an exceptional work ethic
  • Organized, detail oriented
  • Positive attitude and outgoing personality
  • Proficient in Microsoft (word, excel, ppt, Office 365)
  • Experience in canvassing or sales management
  • Motivational leader who can motivate the team to succeed
  • Solar experience a plus
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Experience in Salesforce or similar CRM
