POSITION DESCRIPTION

TITLE:                            Inside Sales Manager
SUPERVISOR:              Director of Operations
CLASSIFICATION:        Full-Time

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Convert leads into appointments (phone, email, internet and from canvassing team)
  • Identify best in class, scalable solutions for handling all incoming customer inquiries
  • Distribute, monitor and report progress of all customer leads and opportunities
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of 2-5 team members who regularly interact with customers
  • Increase customer referrals and reviews
  • Ensure all customer requirements and inquiries are met in a timely and efficient manner
  • Support the customers and company on all lead intake and customer service related issues, including ownership of customer complaint resolution
  • Manage the Net Promotor Score (NPS) Program
  • Recruit, train, coach and retain additional inside sales specialists and customer experience team members
  • Work with the Director of Sales and Director of Marketing to ensure lead generation milestones are achieved and programs are launched on time
  • Partner with various departments to improve customer related processes and policies
  • Liaise with external lead generation partners

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven leader with an exceptional work ethic
  • Organized, detail oriented
  • Positive attitude and outgoing personality
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills
  • Efficient at communication as both a co-worker and manager
  • Proficient in Microsoft (word, excel, ppt, Office 365)
  • Experience in inside sales, call center and customer service
  • Solar industry experience a strong plus
  • Experience in Salesforce or similar CRM
